The 21-Day Sugar Challenge
The battle against sugar is no joke! We need it, we love it, but... it's killin' us, too!

And... unfortunately... just like the "War on Drugs," this "war" can't be "won." 

So, probably best to stop thinking of it like a war.

Your mind is clear, and you are ready to face the day. Your mood is even and your body feels steady. No swelling or bloating. Life itself seems better. How can "life" be better if it hasn't changed except for your body? Because life is experienced through your body. You enjoy the warmth of the sun through the sensations on your skin. You enjoy the smell of flowers through your nose. You enjoy beautiful sights and sounds through your eyes and ears. Does sugar mess with these things? It does.

My name is Dr. Kim Makoi. I'm a mindbody chiropractor. For over 25 years, I've been helping people to get healthy and stay healthy through cutting edge mindbody techniques such as my specialty, the Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). The first time I came out of the sugar fog was shortly after starting chiropractic school - almost 30 years ago! I had been experiencing fatigue and difficulty focusing for years. Medical tests for things like anemia always came back negative. There was "nothing wrong" with me, although I knew there was. After finally seeking the care of a functional medicine practitioner, I got my answers. I had undiagnosed hypoglycemia and sugar handling dysfunction. After going on a prescribed diet and eliminating the sugar from my diet, my energy and focus returned! My chronic headaches and frequent mood swings also vanished, and I quickly lost a couple of inches around my waist. I thought, wow, this is it! I will never have these problems again!
